LABORATORY SCOPE
Universal Steel is registered
to the quality system ISO 9001:2008 – ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000. Universal
Steel test results are used for verification, or when a customer
requests test results as a source of information. Universal Steel test
results are not used for certification of material. Test results
reported by Universal Steel to certify product are typically results
reported by the producing mill. Where producing mill information is not
available, results will be obtained by an A2LA accredited commercial
test lab.
